Hibakusha: Children’s Author Recalls Father’s Efforts to Search for Students After A-bomb

Describes the story of Masamoto Nasu, children’s fiction author, who wrote a 1984 book about Sadako Sasaki, who had died of leukemia at age 12, following her exposure to nuclear radiation in Hiroshima.  In the article, he describes his experiences and growing realization that he himself was a hibakusha.
